| Description: | To recruit and screen applicants for Midwest CareCenter positions and manage the new hire process. The recruiter will represent Midwest CareCenter in an informed and positive light, and be a resource in the area of applicant evaluation and selection.
Exemplifies, supports, and promotes the Midwest CareCenter mission, values and service excellence standards. Consistently conducts oneself in a manner that promotes/markets Midwest CareCenter services in an effort to increase census/business/revenue. Demonstrates responsible stewardship of all assigned Midwest CareCenter resources.

| Duties: | Recruiting
Review resumes/conduct phone screenings and set up interviews as needed
Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Work with Director, HR on special recruitment goals and programs as they relate to the hiring of minorities and individuals with disabilities
Adhere to and suggest process improvements to Director, HR on recruitment and new hire policies.
Operate within recruitment budget
Post job opening advertisements externally and internally
Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using network of professional contacts, computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals
Obtain Director, HR approval on all recruitment advertising
Interview applicants and make hiring recommendations; contact applicants regarding selection decisions; complete reference and background checks, job offers and employment records
Act as liaison in representing the Midwest CareCenter with outside agencies and special interest groups.
Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
Evaluate recruitment and selection criteria to ensure conformance to professional, statistical, and testing standards, recommending revision as needed
Arrange and participate in job fairs
New Hire Processing
Meet with candidates to complete the necessary new hire paperwork. Provide offer and orientation letter.
Complete all background, criminal and reference checks
Make arrangements with candidate to complete medical check at Omega Clinic
Address questions from candidates throughout the recruiting and hiring process
Administer the new hire notification process (to Facilities, HR/Payroll, IS, Education, Finance, etc)
Follow up with Job Manager to ensure new hires will be met by him/her on Day One in reception and an orientation schedule is developed
Create photo IDs for new hires (and replacements for employees, as approved)
Maintain all recruiting records including open positions report
Provide updates/reports on open/filled positions to PR/Communications as needed for WRU and other communications and staff meetings
MARGINAL JOB DUTIES
Support Human Resource Department as needed
Understands that he/she may be exposed to Protected Health Information (PHI), and ensures that he/she treats PHI according to human resources

| Qualifications: | Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience:
Two to four years related experience, healthcare experience preferred
Other Requirements:
Broad knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skillsboth written and verbal
Solid organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and Applicant Tracking Software
Ability to motivate and work with many types of people
Ability to work in a complex environment requiring significant collaboration
Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities
